Realme 8 Pro bags FCC certification, launch seems near

Recently, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth teased some of the specifications for the vanilla Realme 8 by sharing an image of the retail box. Now, the Realme 8 Pro has reportedly been listed on a US regulatory site, tipping some specifications. The FCC listing also hints that the formal launch of Realme 8 Pro isn’t far away now.

According to the FCC listing, a Realme device with RMX3081 will feature a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. As can be seen in the above tweet by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the FCC listing only mentions the model number and has no details on the device’s features or specifications. The company already confirmed that the forthcoming Realme 8 Pro will have a 108MP quad rear camera setup. The phone will feature Samsung HM2 primary sensor. 

Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth recently teased some of the specifications for the vanilla Realme 8 by sharing an image of the retail box. It is said to ship with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Charge fast charging. The company is expected to hold a launch event in India later this month where it is expected to unveil the new Realme 8 lineup.
