In India, Realme launched its first smartphone in the Realme 9 series today. Dubbed as Realme 9i, the handset made its debut in the Vietnam market last week. Read on to know about the new Realme 9i smartphone.

Realme 9i Price in India, Availability

Realme 9i base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage costs Rs 13,999, while its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 15,999. It is available in two colors: Prism Black and Prism Blue. From January 25, the phone will be available from Flipkart, the Realme India website, as well as retail stores in India.

Realme 9i Specifications

The Realme 9i comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that has Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 401 PPI, and a 480 nits brightness. The Realme 9i is equipped with an octa-core 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The storage is further expandable via a microSD card slot.

It has a triple-camera setup with a combination of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP B&W lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The primary 50MP sensor has PDAF, and f/1.8 aperture, with the remaining 2MP sensors having an aperture of f/2.4. The handset has a 16MP selfie camera inside the punch-hole cutout with an aperture of f/2.1.

Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in a power button. In terms of connectivity, the Realme 9i has a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 8.4mm in terms of thickness and weighs 190 grams.
