Realme on Thursday announced the launch of its first smart band alongside the Realme 6 series smartphones. Realme’s first fitness band is available for buyers starting today via realme.com. The Realme smart band is priced at Rs 1,499. It’s available in black, yellow and green color options. The band will be available from Amazon and retail stores starting from March 6.
Realme band comes with a 0.96-inch color display with 65,000+ colors support. It has a single button for navigation. Currently, the band supports 5 in-built watch faces and the company promised to give watch face updates in the future.
The device has IP68 certification which makes it water and dust resistance. It comes with a battery that is said to deliver up to 10 days of backup with a heart rate monitor. It comes with USB direct charging, so you don’t need an external charger to charge the band. It can charge even if you plug it into a power bank or a USB adapter.
Sensors include PPG optical heart rate sensor that measures heart rate every 5 minutes whereas its other features include a 24/7 sleep tracker, idle alert and a reminder to drink water. It will show you call, SMS and also notifications from other apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Messenger. The Realme band supports nine sport modes including yoga, running, walking, cricket.
