The launch date of the Realme GT Neo 2 in India will be revealed later this week. In India, the company will launch its new premium smartphone soon. The device will be the third member of the GT series. The lineup also includes GT 5G and the GT Master Edition. According to reports, Realme will launch the device in the second half of October. The company has shared the key specs and features of the upcoming GT Neo 2 ahead of its launch.

There are a number of features highlighted on the microsite of the GT Neo 2. The device has already been launched in China. The phone will likely launch in India with the same specifications. According to Realme India’s website, the Neo 2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Moreover, the phone will have a  6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1300 nits peak brightness. The top-left corner of the screen has a hole-punch cutout to accommodate a 16MP front camera.

In addition, Realme teased a 600Hz touch sampling rate, the highest in the segment. There are no other specifications mentioned on the microsite. It is already known that the phone will come with a 64MP triple-camera setup, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP sensor. In addition to the 5000 mAh battery, the phone also supports 65W fast charging. It comes with Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11. 

The device is likely to be launched with 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations. The price of the base model with 8GB RAM & 128GB native storage is expected to be below Rs 30,000 in India.
