Realme X to Launch in India as Realme 4 Pro?

Oppo’s Sub-brand RealMe is likely to launch the much-awaited Realme X in India in H2 2019. A new report also indicating that the Realme X will enter the Indian market before September of this year. The company’s CEO Madhav Seth already confirmed the Realme X will hit the Indian market with the different specifications with prices starting around Rs 18,000.

Now, as per the new report, the recently launched Realme X could launch in India as Realme 4 Pro. A Twitter user @TheMast08496363 tweeted that the Realme X will be rebranded as Realme 4 Pro in India. As per his tweet, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 730 / 730G instead of the Snapdragon 710 SoC.

To recall, the smartphone has launched in home country China in three RAM and storage variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at RMB 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,300). Another model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at RMB 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,300) and a top end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage priced at RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,400).

Realme X Specifications and Features

Realme X comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2340 pixels resolution. The screen also has a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, an in-display fingerprint sensor and protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the device gets power from the octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor paired with RAM up to 8GB. For photography, it has a 48MP primary camera with and a 5-MP secondary camera on the rear side. For selfies, it features a 16MP pop-up selfie camera.

Realme X is backed with a 3,765mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The handset runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. Connectivity features on the device include USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS and 4G LTE support.
