Realme X50 5G Confirmed to Launch on This Date

Realme confirmed that it will be launching its next 5G flagship smartphone Realme X50 5G, on January 7. According to Realme’s latest Weibo post, the Realme X50 5G will be officially unveiled on 7th January at a launch event in China. Moreover, the smartphone has been listed on JD.com (China’s online retailer website) for reservations.

The company has shared a post on Weibo with the caption “Don’t wait, let’s talk about 5G! Realme’s grand opening year, 5G youth flagship! X50 # See you in Beijing on January 7! Forward Weibo and draw 5 new 5G mobile phones

According to the post on Weibo and the listing on JD.com, the forthcoming Realme X50 5G will support SA/NSA dual-mode 5G, which means that the 5G modem used in the smartphone will support both autonomous (SA) and non-autonomous (NSA) network architectures and will come wrapped with all the mainstream frequency bands for 5G connectivity, including n1, n41, n78, n79, as reported earlier. Furthermore, the handset is also confirmed to support dual-channel, enabling simultaneously using Wi-Fi and 5G, which helps in increasing the network speed. The device will get juice from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset paired with Adreno 620 GPU.

Other features of the phone will include a cooling system, which will be integrated with an 8mm ultra-large diameter liquid-cooled copper tube, 410 cubic millimeters of ultra-large volume and with the liquid-cooled copper tube heat dissipation 3.0, it offers five-dimensional ice-cooled heat dissipation which covers 100 percent of the core heat source. Furthermore, the phone is already confirmed to come equipped with VOOC flash charge 4.0 support, and with this fast charging tech, the company claims to deliver a 70% charge in just 30 minutes.

Going by the earlier leaks and reports, the Realme X50 5G will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will pack a 4500mAh battery under the hood. The phone will be launched in different RAM and storage configurations including 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB options.

In the camera department, the Realme X50 5G reportedly packs a quad-camera setup on the rear which includes a 60-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, 2-megapixel third sensor, and another 2-megapixel shooter. There will be a dual-selfie camera module with 32-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel Samsung CD1 sensor on the front.
