Redmi quietly unveiled its Redmi 10 5G smartphone in Thailand and Indonesia. The device is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11e, which was officially launched in China in March. The Redmi 10 5G features a Dimensity 7-series chip, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, and a big battery.

The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at IDR 2,699,000 (approx. Rs 14,332)  whereas the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs IDR 2,899,000 (approx. Rs 15,394). It is available in three different colors: Aurora Green, Chrome Silver, and Graphite Grey.

Redmi 10 5G smartphone features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2048 pixels, up to a 90Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass protection. 

The device is powered by the Dimensity 700 chip, which includes 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There are two variants of this device: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.

There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the device. The back panel is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a LED flash.

There is a 5,000mAh battery inside the device. There is a 22.5W charger included in the retail package, but the device only supports 18W charging. In terms of security, the phone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock.

Connectivity features of the Redmi 10 5G include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9mm and weighs about 200 grams.
