Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is launching the Redmi 11 Prime 4G in India on September 6. On the same date, the company will also launch the Redmi 11 Prime 5G.
A tweet from Redmi confirmed the launch date of the Redmi 11 Prime 4G smartphone. Additionally, Amazon has launched a microsite revealing the key specifications of the upcoming device.
It has been revealed that the Redmi 11 Prime 4G will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The device will also feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. There will be a 5,000mAh battery on board.
It will have a water-drop style notch on the front. Apparently, it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader that may be embedded in the power button. As for the camera setup, the phone will have a triple rear camera positioned at the top left corner. It will be available in three colors – black, purple, and mint green.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G Specifications
When it comes to the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, it will boast a teardrop-style notch for the front-facing camera. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Camera-wise, the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash.
In terms of screen size, the phone will have a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The dual cameras mounted on the rear will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait shooter.
A 5-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front of the device. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is expected to ship with MIUI 13 pre-installed over Android 12. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
