Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi reportedly plans to launch new Redmi 9 series phones in India. As per a recent report by MySmartPrice, which cites tipster Ishan Agarwal, two new Redmi 9 smartphones are on the way to India. Dubbed as Redmi 9 Activ, Redmi 9A, the leak discloses the RAM, storage, and color options. In India, the Redmi 9 Activ, Redmi 9A Sport may be priced under Rs 8,000. It is not known when these devices will be released.

Redmi 9 Activ variants and color

It is expected that the Redmi 9 Activ will come in two versions: 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. Metallic Purple is expected to be one of the colors offered.

Additionally, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.53-inch display. It is expected to feature an Helio G35 processor and a 5,000mAh battery.  The smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor. The phone will have a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. There is no information on whether its design will be different from that of the existing Redmi 9 models.

Redmi 9A Sport variants and color

Redmi 9A Sport will be available in two configurations: 2GB/ 32GB and 3GB/32GB. It will be offered in Metallic Blue color.

Under the hood, the device is tipped to pack an Helio G25 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. In terms of cameras, the phone will have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
