Redmi 9 Power India launch date is confirmed. The Redmi 9 Power will launch in India on December 17. Redmi India’s Twitter handle confirmed the availability today. A tweaked version of the Redmi Note 9 4G with an additional camera is expected to arrive in the country in the name of Redmi 9 Power.

As we mentioned earlier, the Redmi 9 Power is tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G with an additional camera. We can expect an additional 2MP macro camera on the phone. Hence, this device will have a 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) quad-camera setup. It is said to be available in four color options: Black, Blue, Orange, Green.

Redmi Note 9 4G Specifications

As far as the specifications go, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 4G comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution and a dew-drop notch. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The device runs Android 10 out of the box with MIUI 12.

For optics, the Redmi Note 9 4G features a round camera island that comprises three camera sensors including a 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) along with an LED flash. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. As far as the battery is concerned, the Redmi Note 9 4G houses a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack (Hi-Res Audio), microSD card slot, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS (GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), accelerometer, proximity, compass.
