It appears that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi 9 Power in India soon. The new report suggests that Redmi 9 Power could launch in India on December 15. However, the date isn’t confirmed yet by the brand. The launch date comes from popular tipster Mukul Sharma.
According to a tweet from Mukul Sharma, the phone will launch in India on December 15. According to previous reports, the handset will hit the market in two storage configurations: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. It could be made available in Black, Blue, and Green color options.

Recently, a Redmi device with the codename ‘lime’ was listed on the Google Play Console database. Rumour has it that Redmi 9 Power could be a rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G that was launched in China recently.

Redmi 9 Power Specifications (Expected)
Redmi 9 Power will flaunt a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ display with a 2340 x 1080-pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with a Snapdragon 662 paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FOV and a 2MP depth sensor. There might be an 8-megapixel selfie camera inside the front notch. Redmi 9 Power will house a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Software-wise, it will run on Android 10-based MIUI 12 skin. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.
