Xiaomi has launched its first A-series smartphone in India under the Redmi branding. The brand has released the Redmi A1 entry-level phone. The device comes with an HD+ display, dual-rear camera setup, 2GB of RAM, and Helio A22 SoC. Read on to know everything about the new Redmi A1.
Redmi A1 Price in India, Availability
Currently, the Redmi A1 comes with a single storage option. Priced at Rs 6,499, the device’s sole variant comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
There are three colors available – black, green, and blue. It will go on sale starting September 9 at 4:00 PM via Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, Amazon India, etc.

Specs-wise, the Redmi A1 has a 6.52-inch LCD display offering an HD+ resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate support, and a waterdrop notch for the front camera.
The back of the device has a leather texture. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, the Redmi A1 4G supports microSD card expansion. It features a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
There are two cameras on the back: an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 (Go Edition).
It comes with FM Radio and sports top-mounted speakers. The phone also supports various regional languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and more.
