Redmi K30 5G may launch in India soon, receives BIS certification

Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 5G is likely to be launched soon in India as the smartphone has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. The secured mandatory BIS certification strongly indicates the recently launched Redmi K30 smartphone is ready for commercial launch in India.

It has been reported that a device Redmi K30 5G has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The handset is shown to have a model number M2001G7AI that confirms the device is none other than the Redmi K30 5G. However, the company is yet to reveal the official India launch date for Redmi K30.

We already have a pretty good idea about the specifications of the Redmi K30 5G, thanks to its China launch. The Redmi K30 5G comes with a 6.67-inch display with a Full HD+ dual hole-punch design display, boasting of a 120Hz touch report rate and a 1080×2400 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of native storage.

As for cameras, the Redmi K30 5G has a quad-camera setup includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, a 2-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel camera. The dual selfie cameras on the front comprised of a 20-megapixel and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. To keep everything running, the Redmi K30 5G houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The handset measures 165.3 × 76.6 × 8.79mm and weighs 208 grams.
