Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G gets India’s BIS Certification; could launch soon

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has been in the news for quite some time, and it now appears that the smartphone has received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification – indicating its launch in India soon.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5g Receives Bis Certification

According to a tweet by popular tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi device has been spotted on the BIS certification website with the model number M2101K6I. Though the certification does not explicitly mention the model number to belong to the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, the device has been spotted on the US FCC a few days back with model number M2101K6G. So, it could even be a variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Further, the tipster also said that Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be offered in 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB configurations.

At the moment, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is yet to confirm the development of the smartphone. However, as the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G continues to get several certifications including US FCC and BIS, the phone would likely hit the market soon.

As far as the specifications of the device are concerned, a recent report suggested that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will come with an IPS LCD display. At the back, the phone is said to include a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel Samsung S5KGW2 primary sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, a macro camera, and a depth sensor.

According to the leak, the phone reportedly packs Snapdragon 732G SoC under the hood, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Coming to the battery of the device, the phone will have a 5,050mAh battery.
