The Redmi Note 10 5G series has been launched in China as scheduled by the Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi. Two new devices are part of the lineup: Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G comes in three variants in China: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. These variants are priced at ¥1,599 (approx. Rs 18,203), ¥1,799 (approx. Rs 20,480) and ¥1,999 (approx. Rs 22,759) respectively.
On June 1, the phone will go on sale for the first time. On the first sale, the base variant will be sold at a discounted price tag of ¥1,499 (approx. Rs 17,068).
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G Specifications, Features
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 450 nits brightness, and a punch-hole. There are six different refresh rates available on the screen. Depending on the content, different refresh rates are used, such as 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz.
The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset under the hood. The smartphone ships with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and packs 256GB UFS 3.1 storage which is further expandable via microSD card. The phone features a ‘quadruple cooling system’ consisting of VC (Vapor Chamber), graphite, thermally conductive gel, and copper foil to offer a heat dissipation area of 16370mm².
On the software front, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G boots Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5. As for the imaging purpose, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G flaunts a triple-camera setup. The rear-facing camera module includes a 48MP wide sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It has a 16MP camera at the front for capturing selfies.
Connectivity-wise, the device has a dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC 3.0, and GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS). The smartphone gets juice from a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Dimensions-wise, the phone measures at around 163.3 x 75.9 x 8.9mm and weighs 193 grams.
