Redmi Note 10S India launch teased, what you should know

Xiaomi has officially released the teaser of its upcoming smartphone in India and it could be the Redmi Note 10S. As a new addition to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10 lineup, the Redmi Note 10S has launched in European markets a few weeks ago. Now, the company’s official teaser hints towards an imminent launch in India.

The packaging box design is also been teased by the company on Twitter. The teaser from Xiaomi’s sub-brand however doesn’t specify the exact phone name, there are plenty of hints at the Redmi Note 10S in the teaser.

Tags on the packaging box suggest features like a 120Hz display, MIUI 12.5, 64-megapixel camera, large battery, “Game-On” tag, and a Hi-Res audio certification. The box also reveals that the device will be available in three colour variants in India: blue, white, and black.Redmi Note 10s 1

Redmi Note 10S Specifications

It is basically an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 10 smartphone. The global variant of the Redmi Note 10S has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 pixels resolution and support for a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone will feature a dual stereo speaker with Hi-Res audio certification. The handset gets power from a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It is fuelled by MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of native storage.

In terms of optics, you get a quad-camera setup on the rear with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for macro and depth detection. The front camera features a 13-megapixel sensor.

Redmi Note 10S Price in India (Expected)

Several reports indicate that the Redmi Note 10S will launch in India with a slightly higher price than the Redmi Note 10. The base variant could therefore start at Rs 13,000. The Redmi Note 10 series recently received a price increase of Rs 500 without any official announcement.
