Redmi Note 11, Note 11S launched in India with 90Hz AMOLED display

Xiaomi announced its Redmi Note 11 lineup in India, featuring the Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 11S smartphones. The Redmi Note 11 series was unveiled globally a few weeks ago by Redmi.  The new series is the successor to the last year’s Redmi Note 10 series.

The key highlights of the latest Redmi Note 11 series are AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, quad-rear camera setup, 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, MIUI 13, etc. Here are the specifications and features of the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S in India.

Redmi Note 11, Note 11S Specifications

In both phones, you’ll find a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, 90Hz screen refresh rate, a DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 1000 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Note 11 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. On the other hand, Redmi Note 11S is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G96 processor along with a Mali G-57 GPU. On both devices, there is LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. These phones weigh 179 grams and measure 159 x 73 x 8.09mm. The Redmi Note 11S comes with 3GB of virtual RAM, however, the standard Note 11 comes with only 2GB.

In terms of optics, the Note 11 has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device has a 13MP front camera. As for the Note 11S, it comes with a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor in addition to an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. A 16MP camera is on the front. 

The phones run Android 11 based MIUI 13 skin out of the box and have a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The devices also come with a side fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, microSD support, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification.
