Redmi Note 7 Pro to Launch Alongside Redmi Note 7 on February 28 in India

Xiaomi already started this year with few big-bang launches like Mi 9 and Mi Mix 3 5G variant. Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi also unveiled their first phone ‘Redmi Note 7’ in the home country China. They are already working on the Pro version of Note 7, the ‘Redmi Note 7 Pro’. We already know that the company is holding a launch event on 28th February to unveil much-awaited Redmi Note 7 in India. Now, a new leak hinting at the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro on the same day.

In India, these two phones will succeed the Redmi Note 5, and the immensely popular Redmi Note 6 Pro. Tipster Ishan Agarwal posted the image of the both Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro and mentioned the launch date February 28. Moreover, in a separate tweet, he revealed the Redmi Note 7 is launching in Hong Kong along with India in this week/next week as well.

While we already know the specifications of the Redmi Note 7, as it already launched in China, the specs of the Redmi Note 7 Pro have not been revealed. However, earlier reports confirmed the use of Sony IMX586 48MP camera sensor instead of Samsung 48MP GM1 camera sensor that is used in Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will use a better 11nm LPP process technology based Snapdragon 675 SOC, Quick Charge 4+ and 6GB RAM 128GB Internal storage configuration. According to some recent leaks, Redmi Note 7 Pro model may come with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

Redmi Note 7 Specifications

Redmi Note 7 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The phone backs 4,000mAh battery which is compatible with 18 watts quick, wired charging. The Redmi Note 7 comes with a metal unibody design and bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and it comes with a gradient glass-like back finish and carries a new “Redmi by Xiaomi” logo on the back. It features a whopping 48-megapixel (Samsung GM1 sensor) camera on the back which has an aperture of f/1.8 and a secondary camera of 5-megapixel for depth-sensing. Xiaomi claims the 48-megapixel sensor employs pixel-binning to take better shots at a 12-megapixel resolution with larger 1.6-micron pixels. There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with standard beauty and AI modes on the front.
