The Redmi Note 9 smartphone is launched in three variants: 4 GB + 64 GB, 4 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB that are priced Rs. 11,999, Rs. 13,499 and Rs 14,999 respectively. Redmi Note 9 will be available for buyers starting 24 July at 12 pm on Amazon, mi.com as well as on offline channels. White, grey, and green are the three color variants of the smartphone.

The Redmi Note 9 has a screen of 6.53 inches. The punch-hole display produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The MIUI 11 based Android 10 comes preloaded on the handset. The phone also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and P2i splash-proof. 

The octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 drives the Redmi Note 9 along with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It offers an internal storage of 64GB/128GB and it has a microSD card slot for more storage. The handset is equipped with a 5,020mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging and also supports 9W reverse charging which is the fastest on Redmi phones.

The rear-facing quad camera setup of the Redmi Note 9 has a primary lens of 48-megapixel (Samsung GM1) followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and two 2-megapixel lenses. It has a front camera of 13-megapixel. The camera features include Pro Colour mode, scanner mode, and a 21:9 movie mode, panoramic selfie, etc. The device comes with other features like Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, infrared (IR) blaster, GPS, A-GPS.
