A new Galaxy A-series handset has been unveiled by Samsung silently in the US. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A13 5G, this is the cheapest 5G Galaxy phone yet. Priced at $249.99 (approx. Rs. 18,746) for the lone 4GB/64GB model, the Samsung Galaxy A13 will be in the United States starting December 3.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD Infinity-V display with a 720 x 1600 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

The device runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that is built on a 7nm fabrication process. It comes with an integrated Mali G57 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The handset runs OneUI skin which is based on Android 11.

As for the camera, it has a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 5MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for selfies.

There is a 5,000mAh battery on the device that supports 15W fast charging. Other features of the phone are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner (built into the power button), a 3.5mm audio jack, and Samsung Pay (NFC supported), 5G, 4G, Dual-Sim, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and GPS. The handset measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8mm and weighs 195 grams.
