Samsung has released the Galaxy A22s smartphone in Russia. It is rebranded Galaxy A22 smartphone, launched earlier this year in India. MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers the device and triple cameras are located on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy A22s is available in Mint, Gray, and White colors. The phone comes in two versions with 4GB RAM + 64GB or 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. There is no word on prices and when the device will be available.

The Galaxy A22s features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Infinity-V display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The handset is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700, an octa-core processor clocking at 2.2GHz. In addition to 4GB of RAM, it offers 128GB of storage space, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The phone has three rear cameras: a 48MP primary main camera with f1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide lens with f2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f2.4 aperture. Additionally, it has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

On the software front, the Galaxy A22s 5G runs Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Among its connectivity features are a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, and Bluetooth v5.0. It measures 167.2×76.4×9.0 and weighs 203 grams
