Samsung Galaxy A51 Gears Up for Launch in India as Official Product Page Goes Live

Samsung’s latest A series smartphone Galaxy A51, which was first launched in Vietnam recently, is now all set to make its debut in India as well. The support page for the smartphone has gone live on the official website of the brand hinting that the launch might be imminent.

Samsung Galaxy A51 with model number SM-A515F/DSN is listed on Samsung India website, however, the support didn’t reveal the exact launch date of the smartphone. The DS in the model number hints towards the support for dual-SIM.

Coming to the specs, the Galaxy A51 ships with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display bearing a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an in-display fingerprint scanner. At its core is the Exynos 9611 processor. The smartphone is offered in three configurations – 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Apart from the internal storage, the storage is further expandable up to 512GB through the microSD card.

In the imaging department, the smartphone features quad rear camera setup with 48-megapixel as a primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 12-megapixels ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixels depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and another 5-megapixels macro camera with f/2.4 aperture with an LED flash. On the front side, it comes equipped with a 32-megapixel f/2.2 aperture sensor. Software-wise, the smartphone boots Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out of the box. The handset packs a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging with USB Type-C. Connectivity options include VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. It measures 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9mm and weighs 172 grams.
