Following its global launch last week, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has been launched in India. Galaxy A53 5G features a sAMOLED display, Exynos processor, a quad-rear camera setup, and a 32MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy A53 5G is available in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The base model of the Galaxy A53 5G with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage costs Rs 34,499 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 35,999. The Galaxy A53 5G is available in four colors: Blue, Peach, White, and Black.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is already up for pre-order on Samsung.com, retail stores, and select online portals. Consumers can purchase the phone from March 25 in the country. The company is also offering Rs 3000 cashback with ICICI Credit Cards.

Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 800nits peak brightness, Infinity-O display, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and is Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Galaxy A53 5G is powered by Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 1280 processor built on a 5nm process. The handset is paired with Mali G68 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB internal memory.
In addition to the quad-camera setup at the back, the Galaxy A53 5G comes with a LED flash as well. The rear camera setup includes a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery unit and 25W fast charging support. However, the company will not be shipping a charger in the retail box. Galaxy A53 5G ships with Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 out of the box. It will get 4 years of Android version upgrades and 5 years of security patch updates.
