Samsung’s latest smartphone Galaxy A9(2018)which claims to be world’s first ever smartphone that sports quad rear camera will unveil India today at an event in Gurugram at 12:30 PM IST. The South Korean company listed the flagship both on Amazon India and Flipkart which suggest that the Galaxy A9 (2018) will be available across the leading e-retail platforms. Expected pricing

At the launch event, In Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy A9 was announced for EUR 599 (approximately Rs 51,300) for the European market. But a week before the pricing of the smartphone is was spotted in Samsung’s website source code. It revealed that Samsung is planning to launch the A9 in India at Rs 39,000, although the official price will only be revealed at the Samsung event this afternoon. The smartphone best to be known as “world’s first quad camera smartphone” that bears a glassy metal frame back with an absolutely stunning design with gradient color options. The smartphone also comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU and comes with 6GB / 8GB of RAM as well as 128 GB storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. While the Samsung Galaxy A9 runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) out of the box, it also supports Dual SIM ( nano + nano + microSD) connectivity.
For photography, there is a 24-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture, a 10-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel 120-degree Ultra Wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
