Samsung has announced its Galaxy M33 5G mid-range smartphone in India that replaces the Galaxy M32 5G from last year. In comparison with the predecessor, the Galaxy M33 5G offers a better screen, a high refresh display, a larger battery, an improved camera, and a lot more.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 18,999 whereas the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 20,499. As a part of the introductory offer, the 6GB variant of the Galaxy M33 5G will be available for Rs 17,999 and the 8GB variant will retail for Rs 19,499.

Blue and green will be the two available colours for the phone. It will be available on Amazon starting April 8. ICICI bank credit cardholders can take advantage of an instant discount of Rs 2,000 as part of the launch offer.

Featuring a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display, Samsung Galaxy M33 5G features a 120Hz refresh rate as well as Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 5nm Exynos 1280 processor coupled with Mali-G68 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The device also supports Virtual RAM. The 8GB version offers up to 8GB Virtual RAM and the 6GB version offers up to 6GB Virtual RAM. 

There is a triple-rear camera setup with a combination of a 50MP main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth (f/2.4 ), and a 2MP macro lens (/2.4). On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the device includes an object eraser and temporal noise reduction features.

Moreover, the Galaxy M33 5G comes equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. However, the smartphone does not come with a charger in the box. As for software, the phone is running Android 12 out of the box with OneUI 4 skin.

The device also has a  3.5mm headphone jack, Power cool technology, reserve charging, voice focus to cut out ambient noise, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
