Samsung Galaxy M62 debuts with Exynos 9825 SoC, 7,000mAh battery

After a few leaks, teasers, and rumors, Samsung has officially revealed the Galaxy M62 smartphone via an official listing on the company’s Thailand website. The key specs of the smartphone are a 7,000mAh battery, a Super AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 64MP primary camera, and a 25W fast-charging support.Samsung Galaxy M62 Launched

The Samsung Galaxy M62 can be purchased in three colors such as Blue, Black, and Green. The company will be starting with the sales of the smartphone from March 3rd in Thailand and Malaysia.

Talking of the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M62 is powered by an Exynos 9825 SoC. The processor is paired with Mali G76 MP12 GPU. The SoC is accompanied by up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage which is expandable up to 512GB. The device packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Plus display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a center-positioned punch-hole for the selfie shooter.

For photography, the Galaxy M62 is equipped with four cameras. The main camera is a 64MP Sony IMX682 and it is assisted by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree FoV, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 32MP shooter.

The phone runs on Android 10-based OneUI 3.1 out of the box and packs a 4,820mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and preloaded with Dolby Atmos and Samsung Pay. It measures 76.3×163.9×9.5mm and weighs 218 grams.
