Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite apppears on Geekbench with 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 865 SoC

Samsung reportedly working on a new phone under the Samsung S20 series which is called Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite. Now, the phone has been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench revealing the key specs of the phone. Although there is no confirmation on the S20 series smartphones, the series is tipped to include Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite has been spotted with the model name SM-G781B on Geekbench 4 benchmarking platform. The listing gives us an early glimpse at the performance of this upcoming Samsung device. On the benchmark platform, it has achieved a single-core score of 737 and a multi-core score of 2,619. The listing also further confirms that Galaxy S20 Lite will ship with 6GB of RAM and boot Android 10 OS out of the box. 

According to the benchmarking site, Geekbench, the Galaxy S20 Lite will have an octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor clocked at 1.80 GHz. Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite Geekbench

Meanwhile, Samsung is hosting the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ virtual event on 5 August where it is likely to launch Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Fold 2 foldable smartphone along with Galaxy Watch 3. However, this can’t be confirmed at the moment.
