The long rumours and leaks have finally ended as Samsung has officially revealed the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition). The smartphone has a plastic back panel and differs slightly from the original S21 series in terms of design.

In terms of price and availability, the S21 FE will be available in the US starting at $699 (approx Rs 52,000) for the 6GB + 128GB variant whereas the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at $769 (approx Rs 57,300). You can purchase the phone starting on January 11. It comes in four different colors: Olive, White, Graphite, and Lavender. It is likely that the phone will arrive in India soon, as Samsung India has also teased the device.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE boasts a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and HDR 10+ support The device has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging, 15W wireless fast charging support, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC and packs 6GB and 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage options.

On the back, there are three cameras: a 12-megapixel f/1.8 main camera, a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide camera, and an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom and OIS support. Additionally, there is a 32MP camera with f/2.2 on the front nested inside the centered punch-hole cutout.

The smartphone runs Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 skin. It is also IP68-rated for water resistance. Among its connectivity features are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging. Other features of the phone are stereo speakers, an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and more.
