It is expected that Samsung will introduce two new foldable devices at its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 3 – the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. There have been multiple leaks of the phones in the past. Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has appeared on the Geekbench.

The Samsung device with model number SM-F926U that appeared on the Geekbench is said to be the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This listing indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will include a Snapdragon 888 SoC. The codename for the Qualcomm processor is “lahaina”. 

The phone will ship with Android 11 and Samsung’s OneUI skin pre-installed. Additionally, it will come with 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 managed to acheive 1124 and 3350 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. SM-F926U is the model number for this phone, which indicates that it is the US version.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to have dual screens. The main screen may measure 7.55 inches and have a 4:3:2 aspect ratio, while the cover screen might measure 6.23 inches with a 5:4 aspect ratio.

Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 may come with triple cameras at the back. All three cameras will use a 12MP sensor. There will also be a 10-megapixel camera on the front display. It is said to feature a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25W charging. The device is also expected to support wireless charging and reverse charging.

Snapdragon 888 could fuel the phone. As far as storage is concerned, there is a range of options up to 512GB. The fingerprint scanner will be on the side of the device for added security.

In addition, the Z Fold 3 will come with S Pen support. Additionally, the device is said to be available in three colours: Black, Green, and Gradient.
