Samsung’s upcoming foldable smart phone: 7 inch screen and a secondary display

Samsung is soon going to unveil its much anticipated foldable smartphone oncoming year. According to the Wall Street Journal, the new phone will feature a 7-inch display that can bend in half to transform it into a wallet shape. And a secondary display bar on the outside. Because of bearing two displays the company would have to build in a larger battery. This phone could cost more than $1,500 at launch and would first be marketed toward niche users, like gamers. Where a previous report, stated it’d come in at about $1,900.

It would be interesting to see how this would look. Even the company hardware conglomerate is also convinced to be working on curved batteries for this upcoming device, along with flexible OLED displays.

With such a huge price,  we can expect the features that foldable phone equips.After all this the first foldable phone pf the company. This is not the first time we heard about the foldable phone, the company has been reporting on it for years. It has even said it was working on this device multiple times.

To recollect, Samsung Display’s principal engineer, said” The company was focusing on bezel-free displays first and would then turn on to bendable displays. The company has now introduced multiple phones with minimal bezels, though not completely bezel-free, so it seems the team could be refocusing on something new.” stated, Kim Tae-wrong. And now the same was reported by Wall Street Journal about the unveiling of a foldable phone on a coming year that is on 2019.

And there would not be mass production of this phones.T here would be a limited edition of these premium smartphone design for people who want additional screen real estate for watching videos and working on productivity apps. The full production of the phone could be ordered for the second half of 2019. The brand is also expected to release other foldable phones later next year.
