Tecno has launched two new smartphones in India with impressive specifications. Dubbed as the Tecno Camon 15 and Tecno Camon 15 Pro, the pair of new Tecno Camon-series phones features a quad rear camera setup and a massive battery.
Tecno Camon 15, Camon 15 Pro Price, Availability
The Tecno Camon 15 comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 and it will be available in Shoal Gold, Fascinating Purple, and Dark Jade colors. Tecno Camon 15 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 14,999 and the buyers can grab the phone in Ice Jadeite and Opal White colors. Moreover, Tecno Camon 15 Pro buyers will get free wireless speakers worth Rs. 3,499. Both the smartphones will go on sale starting February 25 from over 35,000 authorized retail outlets in India.
Tecno Camon 15 Specifications
Tecno Camon 15 has a 6.55-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. It is powered by the unspecified octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of native storage. The internal storage of the phone can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
For photography, it features a quad rear camera setup on the rear that includes a 48-megapixel camera, paired with 5-megapixel wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel macro lens and Ultra Night Lens supported by DSP chip. Upfront, it has a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera.
On the software front, it runs on Android-10 based HiOS 6.0.1. The handset packs a whopping 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual-SIM, and a micro USB port.

Tecno Camon 15 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display that has a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display has a maximum brightness of 480 nits and a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The device gets juice from a 2.35GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the new Tecno Camon 15 Pro comes equipped with a quad-camera setup on the back. The setup comprises of a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 115-degree 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and QVGA depth camera. It also has an Ultra Night Lens supported by f/1.79 large aperture and DSP chip to help take more light in night photography. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixels pop-up camera upfront.
Software-wise, it runs Android 10-based HiOS 6.0.1 and packs a 4,000mAh battery. The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner at the rear along with the face unlock support. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual-SIM, and a micro USB port.
