Tecno has launched Camon 18 and Camon 18P smartphones in Nigeria. They both feature a 120Hz display, Helio SoCs, a 5,000mAh battery, and 48-megapixel triple cameras. Tecno hasn’t announced pricing or availability of the Camon 18, 18P.

These models will be available in three colors: Dusk Gray, Ceramic White, and Iris Purple. To recall, the brand recently unveiled Tecno Camon 18 Premier with gimbal-stabilized 64MP triple cameras, 60x zoom, Helio G96

Tecno Camon 18, 18P specifications and features

With the Camon 18 and Camon 18P smartphones, you get a 6.8-inch punch-hole display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. In the vanilla variant, the refresh rate is 90Hz, while 18P supports 120Hz. They ship with Android 11-based HiOS skin.

The Camon 18 is powered by an Helio G88 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The Camon 18P comes with an Helio G96v processor and 8GB of RAM. The phones feature 128 GB of internal storage and 5,000mAh batteries. There is support for 18W fast charging on Camon 18 whereas the 18P supports 33W rapid charging.

Both Camon 18 and 18P feature 16-megapixel camera with dual flash on the front. On the Camon 18, there is a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. With the 18P, you’ll get a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens. They are both equipped with a quad-LED flash. Among the features available on the vanilla model are 2K time-lapse photography, night portrait mode, portrait video bokeh, super night mode, and 30X hyper zoom (only on Camon 18P.) Both phones are similar in terms of design.
