Tecno is all set to launch its latest budget smartphone, Tecno Spark 7 in the Indian market. The launch date has been confirmed to be April 9. The smartphone is said to go on sale exclusively on Amazon in India as a landing page of the smartphone is already live on the e-commerce platform.
The phone is already listed on Amazon India with teaser images that confirm that the phone will have a teardrop notch display. A teaser on the listing shows the phone’s top bezel is equipped with a pair of front-firing flash. The volume rockers and the power button of the phone are on the right edge. The bottom edge of the device is a place for a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port. It will be available in black, green, and blue color options.
On the rear, it has a large-sized branding, a fingerprint scanner, and a rectangle-shaped camera module. The camera setup seems to have two or three cameras alongside a quad-LED flash. The camera is said to come with features such as time-lapse videos, video bokeh, and slow-motion video recording. The front and rear cameras of the Spark 7 may support timelapse with a 15x to 5400x speed settings range.
Tecno is yet to completely detail the specifications of the Tecno Spark 7 in India. So far, it has revealed that the phone will come equipped with a whopping 6,000mAh battery that can last for up to 41 days.
Tecno Spark 6 specifications
The predecessor Tecno Spark 6 comes equipped with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that produces 720 x 1,640 pixels HD+ resolution and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and internal storage of 64GB. It also has a microSD card slot for more storage. The handset shipped with HiOS 7.0 based Android 10 OS.
Tecno Spark 6 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the rear, there is a quad-camera module with a combination of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and three 2-megapixel sensors for macro, depth, and AI scene results.
Backed by a 5,000mAh battery, it comes with 18W fast charging support. You also get a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a Micro-USB port. It also has a Bluetooth Audio Share feature that lets you connect up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
