Caviar, The Russian accessory maker which is known for introducing some really interesting iPhone cases. Come up with a new inventory solar-powered iPhone X case which is more expensive than gold made iPhone X case which is recently released.

The company is selling the 64GB version of iPhone X with a solar panel case at a hefty price tag of $4,555. In case you want to go for the 256GB variant then you have to shell out $4,805. The company has named it has iPhone X ‘Tesla’ and the first device of the assembly line is being given to Elon Musk.

The case is possibly more functional than the previous one, assuming the solar panels work as promised and the iPhone isn’t constantly in a pocket. If so, it may reduce the time spent connected to a USB power cord for charging. The case comes with a fancy blue solar panel on the rear, gold edges, and a gold plate next to the camera that’s embossed with the word ‘TESLA’ and a unique number ranging from 1 to 999, denoting the total number of iPhone Tesla X units Caviar intends to make.

The case doubles the thickness of the device and brings it to 16.2mm eliminating the camera bump. With this case on the iPhone X Tesla features IP67 rating. Caviar adds, that the case was inspired by “three men of science,” Nikola Tesla, Elon Musk and Steve Jobs.

The non-removable cover is mostly filled by the blue panel that charges an external battery. A gold button on the case can be pressed to deliver a charge to the iPhone X’s internal battery.

In March this year, Caviar introduced two golden iPhone X variants, which offers much more than the colour. The company had released new iPhone X models with a 24K gold coating.

Price

The two versions introduced are called Classic Gold and Classic Liquid Gold. The company has priced the Classic Gold at $4,510 (Rs 2,93,172), while the Classic Liquid Gold costs $4,805 (Rs 3,12,300).   If you are looking for fancier packaging for your iPhone then this is the one.
