Earlier leaked reports already reported that the global launch of upcoming Oppo Reno smartphone will be organized in India. Any information related to the design and specifications of this upcoming smartphone is not yet available, but it is believed that that this smartphone will be a mid-range premium smartphone and an upgraded version of the earlier Oppo Reno smartphone.
According to a report by India Today, it is being told that the upcoming Oppo Reno smartphone may be launched in August and will be the first smartphone in the world to feature a Quad-Camera setup on the back with 20x zoom. This will also be the first Quad-Camera Smartphone from Oppo.
Ishan Agarwal, an online tipster also teased that the upcoming Oppo Reno smartphone may be launched in India very soon and maybe called as Oppo Reno A or Oppo Reno 2. It may come powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor and a 4000mAH battery with VOOC Fast Charging support. It is also expected to come with RAM up to 8GB and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
Some leaks also revealed the specifications of the Quad Cameras as a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 13MP telephoto lens camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor camera.
Oppo Reno 2 / Oppo Reno A may feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels 20:9 aspect ratio and also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The information related to the price of this smartphone is not available but it is expected to be priced greater than its predecessors. Oppo is yet to confirm this upcoming smartphone and its launch in India.
