Vaio has finally launched the much-awaited laptops in India. The company marks its comeback in India with Vaio E15 and Vaio SE14 laptops. To recall, Sony introduced the Vaio E series to the Indian market. These new laptops made a debut yesterday through the e-commerce site Flipkart and it will be available for buyers in the country through Flipkart. Vaio SE14 in the series is already on sale in markets including Malaysia.
Vaio E15, Vaio SE14 Price in India, Availability
The new Vaio E15 starts at a price of Rs. 66,990 for the laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Rs. 84,690 for the intel i5 powered Vaio SE14. The Vaio E15 comes in Ink Black and Tin Silver color options while the Vaio SE14 will go on sale in Dark Gray and Red Cooper colors.
As we mentioned earlier, both laptops will go on sale through Flipkart and are currently available for pre-orders.
Vaio E15 Specifications
Vaio E15 offers a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display with narrow bezels. The AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processor is paired with Radeon Vega 8 or Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics. The company has added DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, Micro-HDMI, and a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging support. The laptop also features a backlit keyboard and dual speakers. It measures 358.7×239.2×19.9mm and weighs 1.77 kilograms.
Vaio SE14 Specifications
The laptop sports a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with an anti-glare coating. It also includes an island-style keyboard with optional backlit support along with spill resistance. It packs an Intel Core i5 processor. The variant comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD. It has a four-speaker design, with two top-firing speakers and two down-firing speakers.
Talking about the design, Vaio SE14 has an Ergo Lift hinge that raises the laptop when opened to provide an ideal typing angle. It has two USB Type-C, USB 3.0 ports, and an HDMI port. The battery life claimed by the company is up to 13 hours on a single charge and comes paired with quick charging (70 percent of battery recharge under one hour).
Another key feature of the Vaio SE14 is a fingerprint sensor that includes Windows Hello support for biometric authentication. It measures 324.4×229.6×19.55mm and weighs 1.35 kilograms.
