Vivo Apex 2019 shown in first promo video, With no bezels and physical ports

Vivo is prepping to bring another concept smartphone the successor to Apex 2018 called Vivo Apex (2019) that is scheduled a launch event on 24th of Jan in China. While we have seen a lot buzz on this upcoming smartphone with a unique concept and design where the company started a campaign where it let people touch the phone, but not see it and they described it as metal soap. However, we didn’t come across the real-life images of the smartphone. But a new promo video of the upcoming smartphone is unrolled on internet showcases the beauty of the phone.

Apex

The first glimpse of nearly bezeless and fully physical buttonless Vivo Apex 2019 smartphone is shared by Ben Geski by creating a promo video of the phone, uploaded in Weibo.

The video reveals the phone design that sports absolutely negligible Bezels on the sides and top and slightly thicker chin at the bottom where it can say as Bezel-less display to offer the highest screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the device features a dual-camera setup in the top-centre position. Where the camera is set in a vertical stack accompanied by a LED flash. At the bottom, there is a Vivo branding logo. As said, the phone won’t come with any ports or buttons.

The device with no-buttons and no-ports design suggests that it will support wireless charging as well as wireless data transfer and the users will have to rely on the gesture-based and pressure-sensitive navigation system. The device could come with an advanced in-display fingerprint sensor with a larger area and improved sensor for security.

Vivo with its upcoming smartphone stands apart from the existing smartphone with an almost innovative concept and unique design as like its predecessor which the firsts to come up with a touting front selfie camera. However, it’s not yet known what Vivo has adopted for the Apex 2019 smartphone for the front-facing camera.

For Hardware internals, We do expect the device to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor manufactured using 7nm process. And could also come up with whooping 10Gb RAM or 12 GB RAM. While we are just two days far from the launch date. So we expect to see at least one or two more teasers, so stay tuned.
