Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is about to launch its upcoming smartphone Vivo S1 in India today at an event in New Delhi. The launch event will start at 5.00 PM.
Vivo has already launched this smartphone in China earlier, The Vivo S1 variant which is set for Indian launch will slightly differ from the Chinese variant. The company will be launching the Global variant of Vivo S1 in India which was launched in Indonesia last month.

Vivo S1 Specifications
Vivo S1 comes featured with a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED waterdrop notch display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Some leaked reports suggest that Vivo S1 will be made available in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants in India.
It runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie OS and is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Vivo S1 also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock. To talk about the cameras, it sports a triple camera setup on the back comprising of a 16MP primary camera, 8MP secondary camera and a 2MP camera. On the front for selfies, it has a 32MP camera which is placed inside the notch. Vivo S1 which was launched in China has a pop-up selfie camera.

Vivo S1 was unveiled in Indonesia with a price tag of 36 Lakh Indonesian Rupiah which is approximately Rs.18,000. We will be able to know the exact prices and variants only after the official launch today.
Vivo S1 smartphone will be more offline centric in the country, the device will go on sale starting today across leading offline stores in India.
