Vivo S5 Spotted on TENAA, Reveals Specifications

Vivo will be launching Vivo S5 in China on November 14. Now, ahead of the Vivo S5′ launch, the smartphone has passed through the TENAA certification, revealing the phone’s key specifications. Interestingly, two Vivo smartphones with the model number V1932A and V1932T. These are most likely be the two variants of upcoming Vivo S5.

On the camera front, the model number V1932A shows Penta rear camera setup which comprises of 48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP+5MP, while the handset listed with model number V1932T has triple rear camera setup that include 48MP+8MP+5MP. Other than the camera setup, rest of the specs on both of the devices (V1932A and V1932T) are similar.

The listing shows the Vivo S5 (V1932A/T) with a 6.45-inch display with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution. On the hardware front, the Vivo S5 (V1932A/T) will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. The exact processor information is not known at the moment, but it could be the Snapdragon Snapdragon 712 10nm SoC. The listing suggests that the Vivo S5 will come in two variants — 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage, 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage.

The listing suggests that the Vivo S5 will run on Android 9 Pie based on FunTouch OS and will be backed by a 4010mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.

The phone will measure 157.9×73.92×8.64(mm) and weighs 188 grams. The phone will feature in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors will include Gravity sensor, distance sensor, and light sensor. Connectivity options will include VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port.

Till now, the company has not revealed anything related to the Vivo S5 in India.
