Vivo U20 Launch Teased on Amazon, Reveals Details of Battery and Fast Charging

Vivo U20 has been teased by Amazon just days ahead of its official launch in India. The smartphone has received a microsite on Amazon revealing key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Among other highlights, the microsite reveals some of the key specifications of the Vivo U20, the successor of Vivo U10. The Vivo U20 launch in India has been set for November 22.

According to the Amazon landing page, the Vivo U20 will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W dual-engine fast charging support. The company claims to deliver a standby time of 273 hours, 21 hours of continuous Instagram, 17 hours on Facebook, and 11 hours of YouTube playback with this massive 5000mAh battery. The phone is also confirmed to ship with the Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6GB RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage.

Furthermore, the images on the listing shows the phone with USB Type-C port alongside the speaker grills, and 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom.

Apart from this, the front of the phone will feature waterdrop notch that houses the front camera. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner alongside triple camera setup and an LED flash. The volume rockers and the power buttons are located on the right edge of the handset.

According to the report, the Vivo phone named Vivo U3 launched in China recently could be marketed as Vivo U20 in India.

Vivo U3 Specifications

The Vivo U3 comes equipped with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powering the phone is a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with Adreno 612 GPU. The phone is launched in two variants: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB storage. The storage od the phone is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. On the software front, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with FuntouchOS 9.2 UI.

For photography, the Vivo U3 packs a triple camera setup that comprises of a 16MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle-lens and a 2MP macro unit for close-up shots. Up front, it has a 16MP shooter. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. It measures 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89mm and weighs 193 grams. The device gets juice from a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging.
