Vivo V25 5G announced in India with Dimensity 900 SoC, AMOLED display

In India, Vivo V25 5G has just been launched as the company’s new mid-range phone. This is Vivo‘s second smartphone in the series following the launch of the V25 Pro in August. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity series 5G processor.

A key feature of the Vivo V25 5G is its Anti-Glare (AG) glass design, which changes colour when direct sunlight or UV rays hit the back panel (only Surfing Blue variant). There is also a 50MP selfie camera on the device.

Currently, the base model of the Vivo V25 5G with  8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 27,999. The top-of-the-line model has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and costs Rs 31,999. Customers will be able to pre-order the phone from 3 PM today on Flipkart, Vivo e-store, and offline stores in Surfing Blue and Elegant Black colour options.

Vivo V25 5G Specifications

Vivo V25 5G sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution,  an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A 4,500mAh battery powers the device, which supports 44W fast charging.

A triple-camera setup featured on the back of the V25 5G comprised a 64MP main camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There is also a 50MP eye AF front camera on the V25 5G. It runs on a Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12.

In addition, it offers a cooling system, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and Extended RAM up to 8GB. This phone has a thickness of 7.79mm and weighs around 186 grams.
