Vivo X21 Pre-Bookings Open in India Ahead of May 29 Launch

The most awaited Vivo X21 smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner will be launched on May 29 in India, but the company has already commenced pre-bookings for the device. Pre-bookings are live through Vivo’s online store, and the company is charging Rs. 2,000 as the advanced pre-booking amount. Looking like Vivo is trying to figure out how many units to keep handy so that there is no outrage from customers about the handset going out of stock in minutes; like the Redmi Note 5 Pro or the Asus Max Pro M1.

If you can want to pre-book the Vivo X21, visit Vivo’s online store and then make the advanced payment of Rs. 2,000. After that, the company will send you a coupon worth the value of your advanced payment that you’ll be able to apply alongside paying the balance amount to purchase the Vivo X21 on May 29.

The customers can avail a bunch of offers on prebooking the Vivo handset. Firstly, they will receive a gift voucher worth Rs.1,000 which you can claim at Ferns N Petals, India’s largest flower and gifts retailer. Buyers will also be eligible for a no-cost EMI for up to 12 months. Those who make their payment using an SBI Credit Card are eligible for a 5 percent cash back. Those on the Vodafone network also get a full year device security plan along with 280GB of Mobile Internet data.

Expected pricing

The company didn’t reveal price yet, the Vivo X21 is launching as a Flipkart exclusive smartphone in India. There are two main variants of this smartphone —one with an in-display fingerprint scanner and one without. The standard model is expected to be priced around Rs. 29,900 for the 64GB internal storage model, while the 128GB storage model should cost around Rs.33,000.

The handset is already available in China with a price tag of CNY 3,598 (approximately Rs. 37,100). The smartphone was also launched in Singapore at SGD 799 (around Rs. 39,900).
