Earlier this year, Vivo had launched its first in display fingerprint sensor smartphone Vivo X21 which got very popular in the Android market. Now, the company is all set to announce its successor, called the X21s, with minor improvements.
A post in Weibo blog hints that the new device is dubbed as Vivo X21s with its Specifications and features not only that it also revealed the price and launch date of the smartphone.
Talking about the specifications, Almost Vivo X21s is having similar Specifications like X21 with some minor changes in is display, front camera and battery capacity. According to the TENNA specifications, The X21s is expected to flaunt a 6.41-inch OLED display compared to 6.28-inch display on its sibling that is it boasts similar to display screen as that of Oneplus 6T.The screen boasts full HD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). But there is no info regarding whether the phone has a Halo display notch or some other design notch we will let you know once it gets official.
Coming to the hardware internals, the Vivo X21s is reported to house a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB expandable storage. The new smartphone comes with a bigger battery with 3,330mAh battery with 18W fast-charging.
On the imaging duties, the handset could employ a 25-megapixel sensor on the front, while its rear camera is reported to flaunt 12MP + 5MP sensors with LED flashlight.
On the software side, the X21s is likely to boot Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouchOS out of the box. In terms of connectivity, it could pack dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ GLONASS. As can be seen at the images of the device, there isn’t any fingerprint sensor on the back panel, so it’s likely that the X21s could house it up front on the display.
Price and availability
According to the weibo post, The Vivo X21s price will be RMB 2798 (~Rs 30,000) in the company’s home market and it will go on sale on November 15th.
