Chinese manufacturing giant, Vivo, has released its latest X series comprised of Vivo X30 and X30 Pro smartphones in home country China. Here’s a closer look at the Vivo X30 and X30 Pro and what both these smartphones bring to the table.
Vivo X30 Specifications
The Vivo X30 features a bigger 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, the tall aspect ratio of 20:9. Weighing 196.5 grams, the smartphone sports a hole punch near its top right corner. In terms of optics, the back of the phone has a hole punch near its top right corner. Moving on to the front, here we get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.45 aperture.
Inside, we get the octa-core Exynos 980 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Vivo has also thrown in a 4350mAh battery along with 30W Flash Charge support. On the software front, it runs on Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 5G, NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack.

Vivo X30 comes with a price tag of 3,298 Yuan (approx. Rs 33,400) for 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant while the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant costs 3,598 Yuan (approx. Rs 36,400). The smartphone is available in Black, White, and Pink shades.

The Vivo X30 Pro, on the other hand, gets the same 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, the tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone features the Exynos 980 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Storage on the device is also expandable via a microSD card.
Moving to cameras, the Vivo X30 Pro bears a quad rear setup with 64-megapixel primary camera, a 32-megapixel portrait lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel periscope lens that brings support for up to 60x digital zoom. On the front, the phone gets a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.45 aperture. The phone gets a 4350mAh battery that supports 30W Flash Charge Support inside it to keep things chugging along.

Vivo X30 Pro is priced at 3,998 Yuan (approx. Rs 40,400) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model and the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model costs 4,298 Yuan (approx. Rs 43,400). The phone is available in Black, White, and Pink gradient finishes.
