Vivo X60 series set to launch in India on March 25

Vivo X60 series India launch will officially take place on March 25. This series will be the successor to the Vivo X50 lineup. The company has launched Vivo X60 Pro+, Vivo X60 Pro, Vivo X60 in China recently. In India, the brand is expected to launch Vivo X60 Pro, Vivo X60 as of now. The company has shared the teaser of the Vivo X60 5G series on its official Twitter account confirming the India launch date of the Vivo X60 series as March 25. In addition, there is also an Amazon and Flipkart landing page for the Vivo X60 5G series with a ‘Notify Me’ button. It suggests that the new smartphones will be available through both these online marketplace — in addition to offline stores.

Before coming to India, these three smartphones have already been announced in China. Vivo X60 Pro+ is available at CNY 4,998 (approx. Rs. 56,500) while the Vivo X60 Pro is priced at CNY 4,498 (approx. Rs. 50,600). On the other hand, the vanilla Vivo X60 costs CNY 3,498 (approx. Rs. 39,300).

Vivo X60 Specifications 

Vivo X60 sports a 6.56-inch E3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels and also comes with HDR10+ support, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch response. It is powered by the Exynos 1080 5nm processor paired with Mali-G78 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The phone runs on Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0. The device also supports 5G connectivity. 

As for the cameras, the Vivo X60 has a triple-camera setup at the back with Zeiss optics lenses that includes a 48MP primary camera with a Sony IMX598 sensor with f/1.79 aperture. It also features a second-generation 4-axis OIS anti-shake feature. The other two cameras include a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 120° FOV, and a 13MP f/2.46 50mm telephoto camera. There is a 32MP front-facing camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,300mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support fuels the phone.

Vivo X60 Pro specifications include a 6.56-inch curved E3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels, It comes with HDR10+ support, 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and 240Hz touch response The handset runs Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0 out of the box and comes with 5G connectivity. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Exynos 1080 5nm processor coupled with Mali-G78 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB storage onboard. It packs a 4200mAh battery with 33W flash charge support.

For photography, the Vivo X60 Pro rocks four rear cameras comprising a 48MP primary camera (f/1.48) with a Sony IMX598 sensor. It also has a second-generation 4-axis OIS anti-shake feature. Other cameras of the phone 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 120° FOV which drops to 108° after distortion correction, a 13MP f/2.46 50mm telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture that provides 5x optical zoom and up to 60x superzoom. The front camera of the phone packs a 32MP camera (f/2.45) for selfies and video calling.

The Vivo X60 Pro+ features the Snapdragon 888 5nm processor, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. It comes in two variants of 8GB and 12GB of RAM. Both RAM variants include 128GB and 256GB of storage respectively. 

The phone has a 6.56-inch 19.8:9 E3 AMOLED display that carries support for HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch response, and up to 1300 nits brightness. The screen produces a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. It offers an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the camera, there’s a quad-camera sensor with Zeiss optics lenses that includes a 48MP primary camera with a Sony IMX598 sensor, a 114° ultrawide angle, and 4-axis OIS. Other cameras include a 50MP Samsung GN1 with an f/1.57 aperture and a 1/1.3” large sensor size, 32MP f/2.08 portrait camera with a 50mm focal length and an 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture, OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x digital zoom, 4K HDR10+, and 8K video recording.

On the front side, the phone comes equipped with a 32MP shooter with an f/2.45 aperture for taking selfies. Both the front and back camera lens are coated with nanocrystalline structure coating.

The handset is loaded with Android 11 OS and Vivo’s newest OriginOS 1.0 skin. The phone is fuelled by a 4200mAh battery that supports 55W flash charging.
