Vivo launched its new smartphone, the Y01, today in India. The key highlights of the device include a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging, reverse charging, and MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.

Vivo Y01 is priced at Rs 8,999 in India. The phone will be offered in Elegant Black and Sapphire Blue colours. It will be sold through Vivo India E-Store and across all partner retail stores.

Vivo Y01 Specifications

The Vivo Y01 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 720 × 1600 pixel resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

 

It has a single 8MP camera sensor at the back with an aperture of f/2.0. On the front, there is a 5MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2. There is a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging through a micro-USB port.

Vivo Y01 runs Funtouch OS 11.1. The Multi Turbo 3.0 feature is designed to prioritize storage when multiple apps are running simultaneously in order to provide a smooth experience.

There is no fingerprint sensor on the phone. It is equipped with face recognition instead. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
