Vivo Y51s announced with Exynos 880 chipset, triple rear camera setup

Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone in its home-country China. Vivo Y51s comes in a single variant with GB RAM and 128GB storage and it is priced in China at CNY 1,798 (approx. Rs. 19,100). It will be available in three colors: Secret Realm Black, Snow Feather White, and Bihailan Blue. Vivo Y51s will go on sale in China on July 29 and it’s already up for pre-orders on the official Vivo website.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y51s features an Exynos 880 octa-core processor paired with Mali-G76 MP5 graphics. The phone comes with 6GB LPPDR4x RAM and 128GB storage. 

Vivo Y51s runs on the Android 10-based Funtouch OS 10.5 skin on the top. It sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) LCD display with aspect ratio of 19.5:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.72 percent, and 394 ppi pixel density.

At the back, the device features a 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, you get an 8-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera with f/2.05 aperture. There is a total of 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W dual-engine flash charging. The phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well. The phone measures 162.05×76.61×8.46mm and it weighs 190 grams.
