A new smartphone has been added to Vivo‘s Y series. The Chinese company has launched the Vivo Y52 (2022) with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, a 48MP camera setup, a 5000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 18W fast charging support. The Vivo Y52 (2022) is available in a single configuration, 4GB + 128GB, for $7,990 9 (approx. Rs 20,500). At the time of writing, Vivo has not revealed the Vivo Y52’s global availability.

The all-new Vivo Y52 (2022) sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch.

In addition to an octa-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the device comes paired with an integrated Mali G52 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It runs FunTouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12.

Featuring a triple rear camera setup, the Vivo Y52 (2022) has a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It features an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies.

It features a 5000mAh battery. The device supports 18W fast charging through a Type-C port. In terms of security, the smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In addition, it is equipped with a hybrid microSD card slot.

There are two colors available for the new Y52 (2022) – Night Black and Glacier Blue. It weighs 193 grams and measures 163.95 × 75.30 × 8.50mm. In terms of connectivity, the device offers Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and Beidou.
