Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is launching a new smartphone in China this month. The company confirmed the launch of the Vivo Z5 on July 31st by posting a teaser on its official Weibo account.

The poster shared by the company on Chinese microblogging site Weibo shows a triple rear camera sensor on the upcoming Vivo Z5 and it also highlights heat dissipation for improved performance.

It is speculated that Vivo V1921A which recently surfaced online via TENAA listing could be the upcoming Vivo Z5. From what we know so far, the Vivo Z5 might come with a 6.36-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Further, the phone is believed to be powered by the 2.3 GHz octa-core processor along with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage. Sadly, there is no microSD card slot for the further expansion of storage.

On the camera front, the Vivo Z5 might feature a triple camera set up on the rear with 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP as its configuration and a 12 MP selfie camera.

The phone is also said to pack in a massive 4,420 mAh battery. On the software department, it is likely to run on the Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch skin. The handset measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm and it weighs 189.6 grams. As per the reports, the Vivo Z5 will be launched in Black color option.
