Last year, the company has introduced a “Forwarding Info” feature in an attempt to fight fake news. Now, according to the new report by WABetaInfo, a new beta update for WhatsApp on Android shows two features on forwarding messages. One adds an additional ‘frequently forwarded’ label, while the other lets users check if their messages have been forwarded.

This feature is available in the info section for messages. Now, users can see if their messages have been delivered or read. The new update will show if the sent message has been forwarded and also the number of times. As per the report, “the Forwarding Info feature does not seem available when a message is set as frequently forwarded, so when it has been forwarded 5 times or more.”
